Celebrate Constitution Day, a 12-page Tabloid packed with activities and content including: The Tabloid - provided in partnership with the Newspaper Association of America Foundation and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
  • Focus on the Constitutional Convention, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, with a special First Amendment focus.
  • “First Amendment in Action” activities on every page encourage kids to use their newspaper to learn about their rights and freedoms.

Visit our All-New, On-line Module - An interactive flash experience, the On-line Module is a great way to connect your students with the thoughts and ideas of the Constitutional Convention, and it's a lot of fun!

Below are some screenshots and explanations for each activity in the Module.

From the homepage of the module, you can select any one of 3 activities. Each activity is listed below.

The highlight of the On-line Module, Madison's Notes are Missing takes users back in time to the Constitutional Convention. The time-traveler will ask questions of the Founders and report their findings in a news story. Each Founder is voiced and animated.

The next activity is an interactive crossword puzzle that focuses on the Founding.
The final activity is a quote matching exercise that lets users identify important phrases that were used by the Founders. Each quote is matched with its Founder by dragging it from the bottom box into the speech bubble above.
