April 2009:

The Institute creates new professional development seminars to meet the goals for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

To leverage the influx of money being directed to low-performing schools by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the Institute developed a series of seminars designed specifically to benefit these school districts.

The Institute designed three seminars that emphasize American constitutional history and political science combined with reading and writing strategies presented by political scientists, reading specialists, and master teachers from the Bill of Rights Institute.
